I went to the Mayans web and found out that they are great mathematics and calendrics. They made huge temples and palaces without any help from beast machines or tools.
We explored the ancient greece and discoverded that they used the trojan horse in the trojan war. And that Hercules and Alexander the Great were the main people in the trojan war.
BY MADISON AND ELLE We learned the word "polystheistic"when we read about Egyptians. They worshipped several gods, and when the Greek and Romans (seperately) they started worshiping some of their gods. Around 300 A.D. they started to worship Christ. Then they slowly converted to Islam, what they are now. Men wore tunics to their knees and women to their ankles. To special celebrations they wore purple and green eyeshadow.
I explored ancient Egypt and I learned that it is one of the oldest countries and that the people were a blend of black and white people and that they were ruled by a pharoh or a king.
We went to the website on Rome. We found out that the only jewelery Roman men would wear was rings. Good manners meant men should wear only one ring. Hair styles and beards varied as time went on.
Women wore a tunica, that was adapted from the Greek Chiton, which was usually knee length. Over it woman wore a stola. A shawl called a palla, was usually wrapped around the shoulders and arm, and sometimes head.
Roman boys wore a tunic down to their knees. Girls wore a simple tunic with a belt at the waist.

We learned about Greece. Greece is harder to live in than Egypt because the soil is not good, there is not enough water to grow food or plants. There are not a lot of people that live in Greece. Greece is divided into 3 stages, stone age ,bronze age, and iron age. T0.here are a lot of mountains, beaches, and small islands. they make a living by sailing on trade routes from city to city, and buying and selling things. they live by an active volcanic zone. we would love to visit Greece!
